🎆 What a great new update to Pagecord, adding the ability to embed posts in pages.

By using the new {{ posts | style: gallery }} variable, I was able to create a nice and quick overview of all my 365 shots.

🤦‍♂️ I've been going about my RSS workflow all wrong. While it was nice to use Reeder Classic (with Inoreader as source) and save what I found interesting to Readwise Reader, it didn't help with keeping up with my article backlog, nor using Readwise Reader more often.

This weekend I had an epiphany during a run.

Instead of using different tools and workflows, I should be going for just one: Readwise Reader. With that in mind, I cleaned my backlog, migrated my RSS feeds, organized them and created some views.

And just like that, my RSS feeds, saved articles, videos, podcasts, highlights, ... all are served as one convenient package.

How could I have been that ignorant for such a long time?

🏅 Mission accomplished! Personal Best for the 10miles, finishing under 1h10 which I set as target. Twice my stomach started to act up, forcing me to slow down, but I'm happy I managed to push through.

Time for a short rest and then restarting my training for the 20k in one month. #running

🎮 I've never been a fan of on-display mobile controls, so I got this little 8BitDo Lite 2 controller for our recent trip to play on my phone, and I love it! It's portable enough to put away, while it's easy to use and comfortable to hold.

With it (and a magsafe stand to hold my phone) I played Sea of stars and Kingdom two Crowns for hours during the long flights.

🏃‍♂️ I'm proud of my 27 days consecutive running streak. However, I'm taking a break today, as I feel my body needs it. Not because of too much running, but rather following the unprepared 10k race I did yesterday with my brother-in-law. And going all out.

My brother-in-law asked me to join a local race, and while I normally only run long distance events, I felt this 10k race was great opportunity to test my current fitness.

And while I did not reduce training volume the days before, nor focused on anything like food, I'm trilled about my performance. Running my fastest 10k, ever, I believe.

This is a great motivator, telling me I'm on the right track with my training, and makes me look forward to bigger events I marked in my calendar. #running

🎙️ I've recently been experimenting with AI voice-to-text apps as an iOS keyboard, and I must say I got fairly good results with Spokenly and a local Nvidia Parakeet model.

Not to the same level of excellence as with Wispr Flow, but of course it's hard to compare a free setup versus one that costs €12 per month.

🏃‍♂️ An exceptionally great run. 1h with two 15min intervals where everything felt like easy cruising. Consistency and a good training program are paying off.
