🥵 Forecast for the next days. I've not been looking forward to visiting caves as much as I have now.

🏃‍♂️ Had a good long morning run. Love the grind 💪

But it seems the thunderstorms of the past night created quite some havoc on the nearby crops.

🔥 Already 31°C in the morning and if it isn't hot enough they're preparing a BBQ outside the office.

📱 Late to the party (as always), but I bought an Xteink e-reader 🥳

I want to read more (not on my phone) and after the good reviews and discount, I decided to take the plunge.

🚴‍♂️ Morning commute (in reasonable temperatures).

😴 Feeling tired. The sleep interruptions and heat of the past days are catching up with me.

Also, I should have gone to bed early but decided to watch our Belgian game. What a waste! We are lucky with a draw.

I'm still supporting them, but this was a lot like their other games. Opponents put everything on defense. We don't have an answer and are unable to get through, they counter or use corners, throw-ins, free kick,...

🏃‍♂️ 9 in the morning and already a good run completed. Time to put my feet up and relax 🧉

🥵 Not really looking forward to the coming week.

🏃‍♂️ Had a brutal interval training this morning. And while it was still morning, the temperature was already too hot for my taste.

But, you know what they say. Running in heat is the same as altitude training.

🚴‍♂️ I enjoyed my commute back from work.

But less so the easy recovery run afterwards. It felt like exercising in a sauna (while it's not that hot yet) 🥵

Same distance, not the same feeling...

🚴‍♂ Bike ride in good company.

👨‍🔬 How peculiar. My children had the opportunity to play/watch on their iPad, yet they chose to watch Nerdland, a show doing all sorts of science experiments.

So happy to see this in the age of unlimited doomscrolling/watching.

🏃‍♂️ Trying new routes always adds an adventurous element. And the continuous rain made it even more of a challenge.

Luckily I could go slow during this recovery run.

🤝 I just created a blogpost in Obsidian, pushing the end result to Pagecord for final tweaking and publishing. Very smooth, and I really like how easy my writing workflow has become. Well done Olly 👏
