Week in rewind
⚽ I went out with friend to watch the Belgian game against Egypt, on the big screen. It wasn't exactly a big screen, rather 2 smaller ones, making it hard to follow at times. However, going to such places is for the atmosphere. Luckily, it did not end in a loss, or the atmosphere would have been less pleasant.
On Sunday, I stayed home to watch the game against Iran. I was too tired to go out and it gave me the opportunity to watch with my oldest son. It was a good decision as the game was a disaster!
🔥 The weather is going crazy in Europe. Temperatures up to and above 30°C, which are too much for my taste. Luckily, the nights offer a way to keep the house cool. At least to some extend, to ensure we can have a decent night of sleep. But I see it's getting harder and harder for the boys to fall asleep.
🚲 I've been using the bike again to go to work, and besides the exercise it offers a great way to clear my head. I feel I need it.
🏃 I'm back in my 6 day running schedule. The weather is not making it easy so I need to force myself to do heavy sessions in the morning to be able to complete them. Easy recovery runs I do during the day, as a way to heat train.
🏀 Basketball season is officially completed. As closing event, we had fries with everyone. The second time we had fries in 5 days 😬
🍿 I went to the movies with my oldest son. As a way to split the family and get away from the heat, but also to spend some time together. My son chose Mario, instead of the newly released Toy Story. A pity, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, especially re-experiencing the nostalgia of my Mario game time.
