Another 3 weeks in rewind, this time published on Pagecord. While I still love Bear, Pagecord is winning me over with its simplicity and convenience, allowing me to write drafts in Obsidian or Drafts and publishing directly onto this blog. I've been experimenting with Pagecord for more than 6 months via microblogging and snapshots. And as I kept it low friction it freed me of a publisher block that I forced upon myself for Bear publishing only something with a meaning.
⏪ Weeks in rewind
- 🚴 Nelson got his belated birthday gift in the form a racing bike, which he was asking for, for such a long time. But as he didn't bike often, and the weather was also not inviting, we postponed it. However, since he got his bike, he wants to use it for everything. School commutes, basketball practice,... In his enthusiasm, I had to get my race bike from under the dust and have a real ride with him.
- 🎉 The twins had their birthday and celebrated it with their classmates. We used to do it at home, but they asked to go to an indoor playground so we agreed. I was happy to go to an external location as hosting a party at home always comes with a lot of stress. The indoor playground was a nice change, but as it were almost all boys, the party was quite challenging.
- 🏖️ We had some really hot days in May, so we went to seaside in the Netherlands. Much nicer than our Belgian beaches. You can read a small report on 📷 Shots from the seaside.
- ⚽ Nelson has his last soccer practice. After 5 years, he wanted something else, and chose basketball. I'll likely miss it more than he will.
- ⛹️ Nelson had his first basketball game. And although it was only for practice, it was a feisty one. He was really into it, and I don't think he ever was that tired after a soccer game. I'm looking forward to next season when the real deal starts.
- 🏅 I ran the 20k of Brussels which didn't go according to expectations. No PB, but still a good mental experience, not to give up when things don't go as planned.
- 🎂 We celebrated the twins' birthday at home with the whole family. I really enjoy these moments together, talking and laughing. Also because I get to carry my camera around to take snapshots. This reminds me I still need to download and process these shots. Like many others. 😬
- 🎢 We went to a theme park where I had a scary experience blacking out during a roller coaster ride.

- Where was I?. The more weeks these rewinds span, the more I have to dig in my memory on what I've done. Where was I? is a location journal, privately and automatically storing my locations. A very easy and convenient way to have a log of all places I've been to.
